Anyone have a Verizon S4 working with T-Mobile "4G LTE"?

Anyone have a Verizon S4 working with T-Mobile "4G LTE"?
I have been able to get true 4g LTE near Charlotte, NC. xxx down, 10 upwardly. No vocalism though since it'due south only able to exist set to LTE/CDMA.
Two questions...is information technology possible to add the LTE/WCDMA/GSM mobile network? All we have is Global, LTE/CDMA and GSM/UMTS. I haven't seen a way to add a mobile network. Would putting a custom rom on enable that? I was as well getting H and H+ recently and now I get E at my house put T-Mobile branded iPhone 5c and Notation 3 are pulling in 4g via HSPA. Shouldn't I exist able to become I too? i do option it up when I get closer to Charlotte only I'll be H+, drop to Eastward so back to H in the bridge of xx yards.

In the first drop downwardly, I selected GSM/WCDMA/LTE and in the second did LTE/WCDMA/GSM (machine connect).
I will now on my way to work gor from East to H to H+ and and so 4G LTE.
Looking at *#0011# when connected to LTE I get this in the first line: "LTE RRC: CONN, Band4. H+ = "RRC: DCH, Band2", H = "RRC: FACH, Band2.
When connected to 4G LTE, I become switched to H/H+ when a vocalisation phone call is fabricated or comes in.
I am still at a loss by non existence able to connect to H/H+ at home. I even so get E (PCS1900) simply T-Mobile branded phones get H and I was also getting H testing the S4 with my married woman's SIM carte from her Note 3 a couple weeks ago. Only thing I tin think of is a tower is down?

So this is intereting, I rooted and enabled the subconscious menus so I can access the service menus and also changed my sales_code to AWS from VZW. This allowed pretty much all the band combinations to show upwards in the Network mode selections. In the offset drop downwards, I selected GSM/WCDMA/LTE and in the second did LTE/WCDMA/GSM (automobile connect).
I volition now on my style to piece of work gor from Due east to H to H+ then 4G LTE.
Looking at *#0011# when connected to LTE I go this in the kickoff line: "LTE RRC: CONN, Band4. H+ = "RRC: DCH, Band2", H = "RRC: FACH, Band2.
When connected to 4G LTE, I get switched to H/H+ when a voice call is made or comes in.
I am yet at a loss past not being able to connect to H/H+ at home. I still go E (PCS1900) but T-Mobile branded phones get H and I was likewise getting H testing the S4 with my wife's SIM card from her Note 3 a couple weeks ago. Only thing I can think of is a tower is down?

The verizon Galaxy S4 does not have AWS 1700 band enabled, so y'all will just become T-mobile 4G in 1900mhz refarmed areas. There is a hack for the AT&T Galaxy S4 to enable the 1700 AWS band for T-mobile, but it does not appear one is available for the Verizon version. And so yous will get band 4 LTE, Edge and 3G UMTS 1900 and 4G 1900, but in areas that are not refarmed to 1900, you lot will just get EDGE until the 1700 AWS band tin can be activated
Not going to say your statement is faux, but the last 2 modems DO enable the AWS for LTE on the Verizon S4, which allows true LTE with T-Mobile service.
I wrote a tutorial on how to get LTE working this way. Don't necessarily have to flash this specific rom, but exercise read the modem and apn settings part. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2560128

Cadams7701, what method did you use to change the sales lawmaking to aws? I boost read a few methods but none seem to requite me more network options. So far I get fewer network options. Thank you.

Whoa whoa whoa!!! Wait a minute! So, I accept i of the original Verizon Galaxy S4'southward (MDK BUILD) - fully unlocked kicking loader. As far equally I know, I oasis't "unlocked" my phone...unless that just means, unlocked boot loader...? Whatever feedback on this? I'm sorry guys, haha...even if someone would rather PM me, go for information technologyThanks for whatsoever feedback!
Besides, my reason for asking is that I'm planning to switch to T-Mobile....I've had enough with Verizon

The MDK only means yous have q bootloader exploit. Make no fault it's still not a truly unlocked bootloader like you see on other carriers like T-Mobile.
It's a sch-i545 and it'll e'er remain locked but with Loki exploit.
At present our Verizon S4s are all SIM unlocked so that they can be activated on other networks. It just depends on the frequency they run as to whether you'll even so get 4g from what I understand.
I've always only used Verizon so I can't tell yous for certain on that part

But I'chiliad not entirely issue free. I can't send sms or mms until I receive a voice phone call. Before I become a vox call, I can phone call out, become 4G LTE to light upwards and have internet access, Also, on the lock screen right above "Emergency Call", it says "No Service". When a phone call comes in, the "No Service" changes to "T-Mobile" and everything works great. In improver, during boot I get a popup that T-Mobile's Visual Vocalisation Mail has stopped working. I suspect something is yet trying for Verizon and failing. Whatsoever ideas how to fix this consequence?

For visual voicemail non working an easy fix is.. let me telephone run for 5 mins(do whatever you want) after boot. switch off the wifi(does non affair if you are not connected to one) and then open up the visual voicemail app. information technology should piece of work.
If information technology still does not work call tmobile, for me they fixed something from their stop before information technology started working in the first place.

I am using NC5 and i am getting 4G LTE atleast in St. louis area. For visual voicemail not working an like shooting fish in a barrel fix is.. let me telephone run for 5 mins(do whatever you want) after boot. switch off the wifi(does not matter if y'all are not connected to one) and and then open the visual voicemail app. it should work.
If it all the same does not piece of work call tmobile, for me they fixed something from their finish before it started working in the get-go place.
Cheers. I merely placed a bulletin to T-Mobile.
Even tho I get the bulletin that visual voicemail has stopped working, it still works fine. Overall, I'm happy with the service, only want it perfect.

I know I am a little tardily to the game but I was able to successfully get my s4 working with T-Mobile. If anyone tin can give me deeper description every bit to why this worked, I would exist near grateful.
Steps to my process:
1) Rooted my device using KingsRoot
2) Inserted Tmobile Sim
iii) Using Wifi I downloaded Avant-garde Signal Status App
4) Changed APN settings to what Tmobile recommends, I used fast.t-mobile.com
v) Inverse my Settings to Global
6) Went into Advanced Signal Status and changed settings to Gsm/CDMA
7) Imputed tmobile number into the infinite provided below the data settings.
8) Restarted device and have H+/3G. I am able to successfully brand calls, send SMS, MMS, and use Interwebs.
